The founders of water dispensing start-up Bevi had a vision for changing the staid office water cooler: reducing plastic waste and transportation energy by filtering plain tap water and transforming it into ultra-clean filtered water that can be dispensed as sparkling, flat, flavored or plain water based on the user’s tastes and preferences.

Re-envisioning the office water cooler required the invention of a new name and brand - an identity that captured the essence of the dispensing experience, but also the exciting potential of having your water prepared just the way you want it.

Territory developed a holistic naming approach that explored a wide range of naming solutions from descriptive to suggestive, coined to combined, and expected to evocative. Naming recommendations were also evaluated against visual design criteria and vetting for legal and digital availabilities.
